They formed in the summer of 2013 and have quickly become known in the Bay Area as one of the best new punk acts on the scene. Andy Davis, lead singer and main songwriter's vocals come through raw and powerful on top of a distinctively unique sound that is wrapped in thick guitars, melodic hooks and a driving beat. BEAST FIEND RULES! is the band's first EP, which was self-released on January 3rd, 2014. Their song "Thinking About Death" has received airplay on BBC Radio 1. If this first EP is any indication of what to expect for the future of Beast Fiend, they will definitely be a band to be reckoned with. The Atom Age Ryan Perras, Peter Niven, Brendan Frye, John Murgueitio, and Fred Brott. -From Oakland, California. -The Atom Age deliver us a blast of energy with every album they put out. This five-piece band plays '60s garage/punk and are heavily influenced by bands like Rocket From The Crypt, Hot Snakes, and the Sonics. Horn-tinged rock 'n' roll is the best description for this band, but it's no secret that the band takes great pride in their influence from Rocket From The Crypt. They've gone as far to say that without Rocket, there would be no Atom Age. Raised By Zebras Garzo and Mike. -From San Francisco, California. -Raised By Zebras is an energetic, upbeat wall of sound that comes at you unexpectedly and won't let up. It's solid, fast-paced rock, with driving rhythms and powerful guitar riffs, crushed beneath the raw, roared vocals. Poppy and catchy despite it's punk vibes, Raised By Zebras blends genres effortlessly to create hard rocking pseudo-dance tracks for anxious fans. |
