The band has been together since 2008 and have already played some of the top venues in the bay area.The other two members of this power trio consist of Mark Welker, (Noel Redding/Billy Cox) bass player and co- founder. Mark is a seasoned musician and has been around the block a few times. He has opened for such acts as Joe Satriani, Y&T and the great Randy Hansen. Kevin Nagel is the newest edition to the band and fills the shoes of Mitch Mitchell on drums. Kevin is the driving force behind Liquid Sky and has been playing drums since his childhood.Liquid Sky’s live shows are extremely guitar driven and fill the air with Jimi’s spirit. The band is for hire for most all events including corporate events,private parties,showcase venues and opening for headlining acts. The Memphis Murder Men Screamin E-Vocals The Lith-Lead Guitar Colonel Rev. Rhett-Rhythm Guitar Sir Hans Sir Hans-Bass Amazing Larry-Drums Danny Valentino-the sixth Murder Man/lead guitar/drums -from Oakland, CA & Pittsburgh, PA -50's rock 'n' roll's bastard child - that just about sums up The Memphis Murder Men. Originally hailing from Pittsburgh, PA, the band evolved from the Steel City's first horror-punk outfit - The Brain Invaders - and now call Oakland their home. These guys have fired up the stage with The Misfits, Tiger Army, The Murder Junkies, The Quakes, The Guana Batz and just about every legendary psychobilly band there is. The group completely embodies the rock 'n' roll that gave birth to every punk, rockabilly, and psychobilly band out there and do it without regrets or fear of what "the scene" might think. Love ‘em or hate ‘em, The Memphis Murder Men are putting the nail in the coffin of bad rock 'n' roll and cranking out loud and proud rock n roll the way the greats did.
