Giuda
Lorenzo, Danilo, Tenda, Alex, Michele
-frpm Rome, Italy

-Giuda is a five-piece band from Rome, Italy. Their mix of anthemic ‘70s glam hooks and the punchy delivery of early UK punk, has stunned listeners all across the globe.

Specifically the early 70’s pre-punk, glitter days when music was all about monstrous riffs, bousterous attitudes, high energy experimentation and fun. Giuda take that same glammy, proto-punk foundation and fuse it with the grimy, tattered muck of bands like Third World War, Eddie And The Hot Rods and Cock Sparrer to create a timeless arsenal of glam injected, pub rock classics.

-London's Buster Shuffle are getting ready for an all-out assault with the release of latest album 'Naked' on September 20th. Mixed by the former protege of megastar Adele producer, Paul Epworth - the much-in-demand Jamie Ellis (Florence & The Machine, The Rifles) - there's no question this album represents a collection of songs with the quality to propel the band to the status they so richly deserve. Set to be debuted at Bestival later this summer, standout songs, including the insanely catchy 'Naked', 'Devon' and 'South' (previewed to a sold-out London Barfly earlier in the year), boast truly inspired melodies and arrangements - an effortless fusion of ska and indie pop (think Madness crossed with Blur) with magnificently mischievous lyrics and a proper, authentic rock and roll sound. Already a big deal with a dedicated following on the European circuit, Buster Shuffle built their reputation touring the UK with the likes of The Holloways, The Wombats, Goldie Lookin' Chain and Chas 'n' Dave, before signing to EMI offshoot People Like You. Uncut magazine gave debut album 'Our Night Out' four stars, while the follow-up LP 'Do Nothing' (which featured collaborations with Micky Gallagher of The Blockheads/The Clash, Roddy Radiation of The Specials and contemporary indie heroes Ian Catskillkin of Art Brut and Wag of The Infidels) regularly charted on European bestseller lists as well as featuring on BBC Radio and XFM (where frontman Jet Baker was a regular on Danny Wallace's breakfast show). Sold-out shows in practically every major European city followed (from Berlin to Vienna and every letter in between), as well as high-profile festival slots alongside the likes of Lee Scratch Perry in Germany, Frank Turner in Czechoslovakia and massive arena shows in Italy with Drop Kick Murphys. Since then, UK supports with Madness, The Blockheads, The Rifles and Shed Seven, along with packed out in-store Fred Perry subculture gigs have further enhanced the band's burgeoning reputation. In 2013, Buster Shuffle conquered yet more new territories, playing to huge crowds at festivals in France and stepping up a level to world famous festivals including Dour in Belgium and Fusion in Germany, as well Wickerman and Rebellion in the UK.

So What
Jason Duncan: vocals/lead guitar,
Omar Perez: bass guitar
Paul Oxborrow: guitar/vocals
Dominic Rivelli: drums
-from Oakland, CA

-There weren't any groups playing the kind of music the lads in SO WHAT wanted to hear so they had to invent their own genre. They call their music "Hard 'Gum". As in, hard bubblegum. Basically, super catchy stick-in-your brain-for-days melodies like THE OHIO EXPRESS, CRAZY ELEPHANT, and JOEY LEVINE, but without the twee subject matter and much, much LOUDER. SO WHAT are an amalgam of the records they collect: JUNKSHOP GLAM/BUBBLEGUM/PROTO PUNK. They come on like the bastard sons of THE EQUALS, JOOK, and bubblegum/glam era GIORGIO MORODER. Their sweet spot of reference is '68 to '74, before the dreaded disco plague forever ruined going the discothèque. SO WHAT just wants you pretend disco never happened and clap your hands and stamp your feet!

PAUL OXBORROW plays guitar and does backing vocal. Lead vocals and lead guitar are by JASON DUNCAN. Their second-to-none rhythm section is comprised of OMAR PEREZ on bass guitar and DOMINIC RIVELLI on drums. They played their first show in December 2013. They recorded their debut single with CHARLIE KARR (Hot Lunch, Harold Ray Live In Concert) engineering. It was released in July 2014 on Grazer Records. Their second single "Why Can't I See You Tonight" was released in May 2016 on Just Add Water Records. Their debut LP "Hard Gum" co-released by Just Add Water Records and Surfin' Ki was released in December 2016.
