Formed in 2021, Sluttony quickly gained local following and re-ignited the college music scene in Santa Cruz. The band released their first single “Everybody’s Business’ - an energetic, vocally driven tune - in March 2022. Their debut EP “Another Something Nice” was released in December 2022. The band played numerous shows in Santa Cruz and other cities in California. The band consists of Hannah Goodwin (vocals), Nina Maravic (guitar), Sabine Hovnanian (drums), and Caroline Margolis (bass). Jones Carwash -from Berkeley, CA -JJones Carwash is a music band based in the areas surrounding Northern California’s largest bay, the San Francisco. Credited as ‘Rock and Roll’ or ‘Rocking’ by some, the band’s leadership seeks to defy genre-boundaries and to touch upon the reason why all musicians make their noise: business. Using Robby Pedersen’s songs, they work to elevate their expression above common misconceptions of a guitar band as being ‘unprofitable’, ‘no longer realistic’, or ‘indie-core’; and pride themselves on their punctuality, hygiene, and taste.
