The 8 piece band is comprised of veteran members of legendary NorCal bands such as Vinyl, Stymie & the Pimp Jones Love Orchestra, The Right Time, Albino!, El Radio Fantastique, Jethro Jeremiah Band + more. Drawing equally from the Jamaican 1st wave as well as the UK 2nd wave the band’s rootsy, upbeat sound leans heavily on vocal harmonies and a full horn section. Soul Ska has become a Northern California festival and nightclub favorite. Soul Ska has had the pleasure of supporting such legendary acts as Yellowman, Don Carlos, Capleton, Zulu Spear, Israel Vibrations, Fishbone, Third World and more. In 2017 Soul Ska teamed up with The English Beat at SF's Independent and bandleader Dave Wakeling called the band “Simply smashing!” in 2018 a sold-out Great American Music Hall crowd celebrated the release of their debut album “Propaganda” produced by David Simon Baker (ALO/Jackie Greene). Their new music video 'Mean Curries” (avail on YouTube) was produced by Agent Ogden (Primus). In 2018 Soul Ska teamed up with the Godfather of Ska and legendary Jamaican guitarist Ernest Ranglin for the smash hit “Lover’s Melody” (released on vinyl 12”). Angelo Moore of Fishbone is a frequent guest onstage and recorded the single “Mash Em Smash Em” with the band in 2019. Soul Ska proudly supported NYC's legendary Slackers on their 2019 West Coast tour. Soul Ska was awarded “Best Band” in 2020 + 2021 by the Pacific Sun Magazine’s Reader’s Poll. Soul Ska heads back into the studio to record their second album at Sun Machine Studios in March 2023 Warsaw Poland Bros -from Yucca Valley, CA -Warsaw Poland Bros. have played everywhere, with everyone in most of North America and Hawaii, while releasing several nationally distributed cd's fueled by their own indie start up label, Invisible Mass Records. Warsaw's dedication to a hobby-job-lifestyle has been, and will continue to be the driving force to perform live, coast to coast, towns to cities, day after night, mixing and releasing albums along the way. With over 300 shows a year, multiple gigs a day and merely days off in between, they are true road dogs, not an understatement, as Warsaw has been voted one of Jam Base's top 10 touring bands. The ever-changing cast of characters that travel with the group lends the band to effortlessly moving through a wide range of styles. Warsaw is the ultimate definition of the DIY attitude, taking everything in-house from booking to engineering and producing their music. The Brothers and their work-horse musicians have collaborated with people all over the world and recording in every setting imaginable, from a backstage green room to Warsaw 1 (Warsaw's van). With a dedicated street team, fan base, and unmatchable live show and talent pool, Warsaw is a testament to an incredible DIY lifestyle. Screaming Bloody Marys -from Bay Area, CA -Screaming Bloody Marys are a San Francisco Bay Area punk band established in late1988 during the grunge era, playing up and down the west coast with bands like Dwarves, Supersuckers, L7, did a few dates with Soundgarden and many more, after their first 7" single came out on Die Laughing records 1989 then re-released 1991 on Sympathy for The Record Industry called "Bloody Bath", SBM began touring the next several years across the states and Canada touring with bands like The Digits, The Gargoyles, Raw Power, Dwarves, MDC, Lagwagon, The Vibrators, UK Subs, English Dogs, Flesheaters ,The Lazy Cowgirls, Johnny Thunders... 2015 Return of Screaming Bloody Marys on the request of Dick Manitoba of The Dictators SBM would play The Dictators reunion along with D.O.A at Slims in San Francisco it was a a success. Screaming Bloody Marys returns with lineup changes throughout the year and now a solid lineup, that consist of Mike Tringali (The Next/The Dix), Dave Dalton (Cell Block 5/Unfortunate Bastards/Die Laughing Records), Hailing from Seattle is powerhouse, Tymber on drums. With style influenced by the likes of Keith Moon, Neil Peart, Gene Krupa --the list goes on,she has played with Seattle based band Slam Suzzanne, NorCal's most dangerous surf band, The Deadlies and now, The Hyperdrive Kittens. And on Bass Gabe Gee from Get The Wall. |
