Their catalog is both intimate and explosive; since forming in 2014, the band has released two albums and an EP, amassing a catalog that ranges from soft, synth-tinted love songs to full-on, painfully screamed ballads. Their latest release, While My Father Sleeps, tells the complex story of family, adversity, love, and friendship, while also serving as an homage to Rose’s mother, who passed away in 2017. Fieldress -from Oakland, CA -Fieldress is a dreamy indie rock band from Oakland. Their music is dynamic and melancholic, featuring hauntingly beautiful melodies and intricate guitar playing. From duo to band, they swim towards a new musical self discovery, exploring new sounds with Omi Golucino, Marissa Deitz, Phil Di Leo and Francisco Camacho. The five piece is currently working on an LP with intent to release in 2025. Bad Tiger -from San Francisco, CA -Bad Tiger is a Bay Area-based band made up of Yasi Lowy (vox/guitar), David Garges (guitar/synth/vox), Tyler Gholson (bass), and Jacob Sherfield (Drums). Bad Tiger was originally conceived in 2018, when Lowy moved to San Francisco with the intention of starting a band. She began by composing songs for this imagined band, And wrote what would eventually become Bad Tiger’s debut album, “The Goat and the Bad Tiger” (2020), tracked and produced by Logan Stokes at Indie As studio in Albuquerque, NM. Following this pandemic release, Lowy met with Mackenzie Bunch at Coyote Hearing Studio to record and produce “Sanctuary” EP (Brace Cove, 2022). Simultaneous to the "Sanctuary" release, Lowy joined forces with Tyler Gholson, Jacob Sherfield, and David Garges, finally growing Bad Tiger into its original vision: a full band. It's with this full form that Bad Tiger went into Bunch's new studio to record their forthcoming album, “Bliss,” out 2/2/24. |
