Inspired by the 2016 surge of Southern California’s DIY Indie-Rock scene, as well as the ever-popular Soundcloud era of rap, 60Juno realized that creating his own sound wasn’t as far away as he once thought. The independent 19-year old is the driving force behind all of the bass, drums, guitar and vocals that can be heard on each track listened to by nearly 150 thousand people across the world. Though inspired by the likes of The Drums and Current Joys, 60Juno takes the usually wistful, dreamy surf-rock sound a step further into post-punk territory with heightened energy and rough, low vocals thrown on top. What may have started off as a drive to create for the sake of creating has now transformed into a push toward establishing a notable sound worth remembering. Luna Ivy -from the Bay Area, CA -Luna Ivy is a four piece band and run by their front woman Lees. Lees is joined by Bex on drums, Tivo on guitar and Autumn on bass. This project consists of many diverse musical elements ranging from shoegaze to indie post punk taking inspiration from “Deux Visages, Julie, Teethe, 60juno, Loverboyrando, and Momma”. Luna Ivy is an eccentric group that loves to perform and has been on the scene since November 2023. Luna Ivy recently played the Psych Radio’s Tenderloin Festival/ Psyched Radio’s October Festival. The Band is currently getting ready for their new Single "purple daisies". |
