September 6 2016 It is our 25th Anniversary... Over 10,000 different bands have played at The Bottom Of The Hill in these last 25 years. More than 25,000 performances... Many bands played just before or until they got too big for our size venue —Arcade Fire, The White Stripes, Oasis, Alanis Morissette, Marilyn Manson, The Strokes, and yes, even Kid Rock. Important bands are in our history —Pavement, Lush, Green Day, Cake, Beastie Boys, ...— but we are particularly proud to have been of use to the local music scene and of all the local bands that have been able to use our stage to share their music. During the next weeks we will celebrate by inviting again to our stage some of the bands that have been a dear part of The Bottom Of The Hill so far. For a bit of nostalgia, here on the right is the ad for the first shows we ever had, on the weekend of the Grand Opening back in September of 1991 -------- |
