It is our 30th
Anniversary...
Over
13,000 different bands have played at The Bottom Of The Hill in these
last 30 years. Some 30,000 performances...
Many bands played just before or until they got too big for our size
venue —Arcade Fire, The White Stripes, Oasis, Alanis Morissette,
Marilyn Manson, The Strokes, and yes, even Kid Rock.
Important bands are in our history —Pavement, Lush, Green Day, Cake,
Beastie Boys, ...— but we are particularly proud to have been of use to
the local music scene and of all the local bands that have been able to
use our stage to share their music.
For a bit of nostalgia, here on the right is the ad for
the first shows we ever had, on the weekend of the Grand Opening back
in September of 1991 --------
