Odd Owl
Carmen Caruso, Phil Jacobsen, Adam Wadenius, and Stephen Munoz.
-From San Francisco, California
-Odd Owl, an indie band from SF, is a group that came together from all walks of life to create some ver unusual pop. With a sound "centered around Carmen Caruso's pristine-female-fronting and cushioned by keyboard coos, funk hooks, and buoyant drumming " (Justine Fields, SF Deli), Odd Owl is able to "produce some incredible new era indie music." (Br00d, Neighbors Hate Us)

Some bands create music to fit a genre. Others, such as Odd Owl, create a genre to fit their music. "It's pretty hard for us to make music that isn't honest about who we are," says Caruso. "What we create is just an extension of our musical experience, it's not some role we're trying to play. Besides, I've never been very good at acting anyways." The grou's members have fused their musical influences together into their own brand of "indie-dance-rock," drawing from genres such as chamber pop, funk, lo-fi, and alternative dance.

James Leste
-From Oakland, California.
-James Leste is a folk/pop solo act rocking the SF Bay Area and beyond. With pristine vocals and a penchant for multi-instrumentalism, Leste creates mellow, melancholic anthems for the everyman. Acoustic guitar riffs dutifully back the earthy vocals, with other instruments coming in at peaks for a rich, simple sound. The music is grounded and relatable, poignant and bittersweet.

Andrew Blair & Graham Patzner
-From Oakland, California
-Andrew Blair of We Became Owls and multi-instrumentalist alt/folk rocker Graham Patzner team up for an incredible display of musicianship and originality. Both of these artists are incredibly talented and renowned Bay Area musicians filled to the brim with creativity and experience.

Ghost Parade
Justin Bonifacio and George Woods
-From San Francisco, California.
-Ghost Parade is an indie/progressive rock duo from SF. Melodic and exciting, the dual nature of the band's composition shines through in every song. With ethereal yet powerful call-and-response vocals and unique, driving rhythms, Ghost Parade is revitalizing progressive rock as we know it. It's fast-paced yet laid-back, peaceful and aggressive at the same time.
