Inspired by LA's early punk scene, Chloe was playing bass at age 10 and opening for artists such as Midlake, Band of Horses, and Conor Oberst by age 12. In 2009, Chloe and Bryan DeLeon formed Kitten, and over the course of four years, released three EPs, opened for groups such as No Doubt, Young The Giant, Paramore, and Charlie XCX, and changed band line-ups three times. Kitten is powerful and ever-changing, emanating youth and spirit. With a blend of the ferocious power of the late '70s post punk and the sonic textures and rhythms of British new wave, Kitten performs with a sense of purpose and emotional delicacy all too rare for today. Chloe has been described by Spin.com as having "a raw power and believability as a performer." Energetic and exciting, Kitten is steadily making itself known. The Hot Toddies Heidi, Erin, and Sylvia -from Oakland, California -The Hot Toddies, an all-girl surf-pop band from Oakland, CA, mix sunny beach pop, indie rock riffs and a dry sense of humor. Heidi, Erin, and Sylvia are best friends who have been playing music, drinking whiskey, and writing songs together since 2005. They've toured across the US, Canada, and the UK in support of their two albums, "Smell the Mitten" and "Get Your Heart On," out on Asian Man Records. Their latest EP "Bottoms Up" was released on Tricycle Records in February of 2013. Dog Party Gwendolyn and Lucy Giles -From Sacramento, California -Dog Party is a sister duo from Sacramento that has been rockin' the club scene in the west for the past 3 years. Their latest release, "P.A.R.T.Y!!!," has received critical acclaim and is just plain to listen to. Dog Party is energetic, emotional, original, melodic, and spontaneous. With dance-feuled energy, catchy hooks, and clever lyrics, every minute is a party when they're playing. |
