Each show is a journey through time, space, and the beyond, a winding adventure into towards serenity, through the chaos of the nastiest of funk. It’s kinda like Primus and Parliament/Funkadelic had a baby, and then that baby meet a baby made by Pink Floyd and Prince, and their baby grew up to play some bangin tunes, that would be Smokey :) Eric Silverman -from Oakland, CA -Eric Silverman conjures high desert spirits on latest LP. Stay In It feels equally at home in 2023 as it might in 1972, evidenced by nods to After The Gold Rush-era Neil Young, Jonathan Wilson, and The War on Drugs. The singer-songwriter trucked Jerry Garcia’s old console to the desert to embrace the analog. The album takes a journey, ranging from canyon sounds of Topanga to cosmic freakouts featuring Adam Macdougall (Black Crowes, Circles Around The Sun), Stay In It is a natural evolution of Silverman’s 2019 solo debut EP, Rookie, with an expanded sonic palette and the most earnest songwriting from Silverman to date.
