Singer, songwriter, and producer Michael Ward has performed with the world class band ‘Dogs and Fishes’ since 2000. Offering a unique mixture of musical talents honed from numerous experiences and backgrounds, the group blends elements of blues and americana to create a rich instrumental interplay combined with thought-provoking, insightful lyrics. The band’s rhythmic precision is the result of having played together for over two decades. A deep familiarity with the material and a fluid approach to the arrangements offer great opportunities for improvisation and interplay while faithfully presenting the songs. On August 23rd, Michael Ward with Dogs and Fishes released their latest album ‘Brighter Days,’ featuring eight songs recorded at Hyde Street Studios. The politically-charged album contains nods to blues, classic rock, Memphis soul and above all, a hard to define but unmistakable West Coast Americana sound. Litty Debungus -from Oakland, CA -Litty deBungus is a 6-8 piece Funk ensemble from Oakland, CA - first formed in 2018. Litty D inspires people of all kinds to move their bodies and their minds. With bass-driven rhythms, powerful horn section, searing guitar solos, and soulful vocals - the party never stops! With influences ranging from Tower of Power to Lettuce, and Pink Floyd to the California Honeydrops - Litty Debungus blends classic funk style with psychedelic rock & roll.
