Led by frontman and guitarist Riley Magpoc, the band’s captivating R&B foundation mixes with ocean-infused rock to break hearts and bring them back together! Joined by guitarist/producer Adam Ruthenbeck, bassist Dominic Rubio, pianist/producer Marcos Hoy (jooneyor) and drummer Kaveh Hodjat (Dejima), they released Pele in 2019. Their self-titled EP was led by the single Crazy Eyes (feat. Lavera) became a fan favorite as they began garnering a following at the start of 2020. The pandemic led to a deep metamorphosis as the band explored personal projects and brought in talented new players. Their live sound evolved as members Rafael Gamboa, Alex Schwab, David Spaner, and Julien Stainback added their sonic-coral to the reef. Each new performer abided by Riley’s mission: merge life and the music! The live line up solidified after recording their second EP with Julien Stainback on lead guitar, Riley Yarra on bass, and Franny Lorenzo on drums. The stage is set for the release of LEAP, a blend of yearning and self exploration through the waves of life. Mommy Mommy -from Oakland, CA -Mommy Mommy is a genre bending rock band founded in 2022 and currently based in Oakland, CA. Founding members Chard, Lily, Ian, and Ray, met as music majors in college and began to explore sounds inspired from a diverse range of influences, from psych rock to pop to punk to metal to latin jazz.
