They hammer out an angry, yet danceable set of songs, with lyrics that range from protesting the inhumane practice of locking children in cages, to love songs in honor of Goddesses that demand blood sacrifices. They will get your feet moving, and your heart pumping! Vague Lanes -from Alameda, CA -Vague Lanes is a darkwave duo from the San Francisco Bay Area. They favor driving drum machines and propulsive synth ornamentation as a backbone for their dual bass guitar amalgam. Vague Lanes' classic post-punk ideology, while adding modern detail, results in a dark, sometimes forked tongue underbelly, which contrasts with light melodicism to create Vague Lane’s nostalgic take on modern post-punk.
