While most other groups have looked more to the past in an attempt to be more of a revival or throwback, Sex Mex looks just as much into the future using various sound techniques to replicate a complete band. Sex Mex doesn’t exist as a band from the past, not because those ideas weren’t there, but because the technology wasn’t there. Sutros -from San Francisco, CA -Sutros is an off quilter punk band from SF. We draw inspirations from an handful of different wells like noise/drone, free jazz, rock’n’roll, and pop.
